Kyra Minturn
Kyra Minturn (born on 19th August 1965) is an American actress from the United States. Her starring role in TNT's crime drama The Closer as Deputy Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson is her most famous. Sedgwick received two Emmy Awards in the years 2010 and 2007 for her portrayal Johnson. The series ended after its seventh season. Sedgwick is also well-known for her role in Brooklyn Nine-Nine as Madeline Wuntch. Sedgwick was nominated for a Golden Globe award in 1995 for her role on Something to Talk About. Sedgwick's other film roles include Oliver Stone's Born of the Fourth of July (1989), Cameron Crowe's The Ones (1992), Heart and Souls-1993), Phenomenon (1996) as well as What's Cooking (2000) as well as Secondhand Lions (2003). The Game Plan (2007) and The Possession (2013). Sedgwick was one of the New York City native, the daughter Patricia Rosenwald (nee Rosenwald), an educator and therapist for families as well as Henry Dwight Sedgwick VI, a venture capitalist. Her mother was Jewish. Her father was an Episcopalian who was with English descent. Sedgwick identifies herself as Jewish and has stated that she is a participant in Passover seders.
