The most popular of her roles are her role in the role of Wicked Witch of the West in The Wizard of Oz and Spamalot in the West End. In the year 2015, she was part of the actors in the fifth season of the HBO show Game of Thrones as Septa Unella and also appeared as an ensemble member in the film adaptation of Les Miserables and 2018 British psychological thriller Winter Ridge in a primary role. Waddingham is nominated as an Golden Globe Award nominee.
