Jennifer Rene Psaki

Jennifer Rene Psaki was an American political adviser who was the 34th White House press Secretary between 2021 until 2022. A member of Democratic Party, Psaki was previously the White House deputy secretary (2009), White House deputy director of communications (2009-2011), spokesperson for United States Department of State 2013-2015, and White House communications Director (2015-2017). Psaki worked as an CNN political contributor from 2017 and 2020. Psaki began her career in 2001, as an official political contributor for CNN. She worked on the campaign for re-election of Tom Harkin (Iowa Democrats) for the U.S. Senate, and Tom Vilsack (Iowa Governor). Psaki was John Kerry's press secretary deputy in 2004. Psaki was also the director of communications for Joseph Crowley (U.S.) and as regional press Secretary for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. Psaki was named the press secretary of President Obama's 2012 election campaign. [20] Psaki was appointed as spokesperson for the United States Department of State on February 11 2013.  There was speculation that Psaki would succeed Jay Carney, White House Press Secretary, in the Department of State.[21] But Josh Earnest replaced Carney on May 30 in 2014. The White House welcomed her back to the White House in 2015 as the communications director, and she remained until the closing of the Obama presidency.
